Carmen is a first-gen Peruvian American Latina, dedicated to propelling professional development and talent cultivation within an inclusive framework. With over 17 years of expertise as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Human Resource professional, her focus extends to dynamic training, facilitation, and fostering diverse talent.
Throughout her journey, she’s collaborated with a range of audiences, including the US Air Force, the National Parks Service, State Farm Agencies, and the Anti-Oppression Coalition of the Ohio Alliance. Co-founding Live LYTE Counseling & Consulting Services, she has prioritized individual therapy and clinical supervision, emphasizing mental health within the professional realm.
Passionate about empowering individuals, she co-authors the Made to Empower Blog, offering insights and strategies for a mindset shift, increased wellness, and life lived on one’s terms. In commitment to professional development, she has co-authored The Wedding Wellness Workbook, emphasizing mental wellness during significant life transitions.
